The company is engaged in the design, engineering and manufacture of components, parts, sets, mechanisms, and substructures for the aeronautical, electronics, automotive and capital goods sectors. The company was established in 1977 and has its registered office in Miranda de Ebro, Burgos, Spain. A first-tier international actor in different technology business, the company offers solutions for design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, welding and sheet metal, surface treatments and after-sales service based on the specific experience of its group companies. These are Mecanizados Ginés, which is involved in precision machining, and manufacturing of tooling and prototypes as well as moulds and precision dies; Subcontratación de Proyectos Aeronáuticos (SPASA), which specializes in aeronautical machining, aeronautical subsystems, mechanisms, and logistic management and raw material cutting; Castilla y León Aeronáutica (Castle Aero), which is focused on the design of aeronautical structures and mechanisms, the management of the manufacturing and assembly of aeronautical structures, manufacturing management and aeronautical surface treatments; and Index Servicios de Ingeniería, which is focused on automation, instrumentation, engineering of renewable energy and provision of solar tracker SOLAciturri®. The company aims to offer the market solutions for engineering, machining and assembly of high added value for aeronautical, automotive, electronics and power generation sectors. Its quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001 international quality standard.
